About Me

Welcome! I go by the pen name Ethel Reda, aka the Silly Little Bard (she/her).I'm a fantasy and fan fiction writer, musician and composer, comedy improviser, and TTRPG aficionado based in the New York City area.As a former Midwestern horse girl, books and music fueled my daydreams of galloping across Middle Earth. I transformed my band geek roots into a love of bards, art, and performance in my storytelling. In my 30s, Baldur's Gate 3 helped reignite my love of writing and fandom culture.I'm passionate about fantastical worlds rooted by grounded characters, and about making art with other devoted creatives.By day, I work as an arts non-profit professional.
